Global window film specialist, DigiGlass has been granted an official license by Contra Vision® to use their ORS™ (Overlap Registration System™) to produce optically clear one way view PET film.
The new product, DigiView, offers a number of advantages over perforated vinyl alternatives not least of which being the product’s greater durability as a non-perforated substrate. The PET window film also comes with a 12-year warranty.
DigiView has applications in acrylic signage, interior décor, branding and advertising. The solution will allow panels to be printed and applied on the inside and outside of windows, glass partitions and transparent retail or exhibition displays.
Dave Macdonald, managing director of DigiGlass commented, “Contra Vision is an extremely well known brand in the industry and we are delighted they have granted us a license to use ORS™ in our DigiView window film. DigiView is a really important addition to the DigiGlass portfolio and ensures we continue to provide an expanding range of innovative window film solutions to our growing global client base.”
DigiView, along with ORS™ from Contra Vision®, allows a high quality design to appear on both sides of a glass partition by sandwiching a translucent white layer between two translucent design layers. The printing process still provides through vision and ensures safety regulations are met by identifying the location of a glass panel, a “manifestation” being a requirement of building regulations. The PET window film is printed with scratch resistant UV inks, which can be easily cleaned.
